Today, I had to retake my Math and Chemistry regents. I took them both in june, but in math I got a 59, and in chem I got a 61. Both of them sort of go hand in hand, so I sort of knew that if I failed one, that the other one I most likely failed also.
Whoever said that the August regents is easier than the June regents obviously hadn't taken the test today haha. The math, i was prepared for. The proof - didn't study this type. It was to prove that two triangles were similiar, and I just bs'd my way through it so I could snag a couple points. I really hope I passed it, because I don't want to take it again.
The chemistry, I thought, was really hard. It might've helped if I had studied a little bit more, but I thought I had a done a decent amount of studying in the first place. There were things on there that I didn't even remember from class all year, let alone from just this summer. And then toward the end, I started to rush because I had put my car keys where they make you leave all your stuff, and people were already leaving, and I didn't want somebody to take my keys. I'm hoping that I still did okay though. I just want over a 65, please.
Then to Elise's house, of course. Basically, I live at her house and I sleep at my house. It's that simple. Oh, yeah, I forgot to write about this. So, I bought Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 the other week, and came home to play it. It didn't work, because my computer is from 2000 and obviously it just isn't up to date anymore, even if I do have Windows XP on here. I then took it to Elise's and played it there, because her computer is like the mother of all computers. So for the next couple of days, I was over there all the time playing my game, and I let Elise have The Sims 2 in return for letting me on her computer. But then I guess Elises mom tried to get on the computer one night and for some reason it wouldn't let her upload pictures from her digital camera. First of all, her mom isn't really computer advanced, so I bet 100% that she just wasn't doing it right. But anyway, she goes and says "Why is Jake always on your computer? Why can't he play his game at his house?". Elise said "because his computer won't let him". And her mom goes "well, he's taking up all the space on the computer and I can't put anything on it".
Her computer is about 120gigs. I swear. But when Elise told me what her mom said, I was kind of hurt. I mean, I know that I have been using her computer a lot, and I understand that her mom might not like it. But I am NOT taking up all the space on her computer. But because of what her mom said, I've tried my hardest to stay off her computer when I go over there, to prove a point. So we've been playing Ping Pong and doing a puzzle for 3 days now. And I don't plan on getting on her computer for a while. I may have wasted money on a computer game that my computer can't handle, but hey, it was fun while it lasted.
But now because I'm home, I'm wanting to do a puzzle. So I'm going to go find one to do and start it. It'll be my project for the rest of the week.
